The Scottish Borders Council (B6461 Bughtrig House, Leitholm) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 28 April 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 23:59 on 29 April 2026. The Order is required for BT manhole cover works. When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B6461 at Bughtrig House, Leitholm.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the B6461, A697, B6460, A6112 and B6461 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. (VARIOUS ROADS, GREENLAW)
(TEMPORARY NO WAITING) ORDER 2026
The Scottish Borders Council (Various Roads, Greenlaw) (Temporary No Waiting)
Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 3 May 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 17 May 2026 on the dates and at the times detailed below. The Order is required for safe passage of abnormal load.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked along the following roads:
(i) West High Street, Greenlaw – from its junction with Wester Row to The Square; (ii) The Square, Greenlaw – from its junction with the A6105 to East High Street; and (iii) East High Street, Greenlaw – from The Square to the junction with Marchmont Road. From 00:01 on 2 May 2026 to 23:59 on 3 May 2026; from 00:01 on 9 May 2026 to 23:59 on 10 May 2026; and 00:01 on 16 May 2026 to 23:59 on 17 May 2026.

(A6112 PRESTON)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026
The Scottish Borders Council (A6112 Preston) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 27 April 2026 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of two days between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 each day. The Order is required for patching works. When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the A6112 at Preston Village.
The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the A6112, A6105, A1 and A6112 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. A map showing the restriction and alternative routes can be seen at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk.

(A1107 EYEMOUTH TO PEASE LYE)
(TEMPORARY 10MPH SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2026
The Scottish Borders Council (A1107 Eyemouth to Pease Lye) (Temporary 10mph
Speed Restriction) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 28 April 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 8 May 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 each day and will be in effect only when signs etc are in place. The Order is required for a convoy system to carry out pot hole repairs.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the A1107 west of Eyemouth to the A1107 at Pease Lye.
