(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026

The Scottish Borders Council (Murray Street, Duns) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, shall come into force on Thursday 30 April 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until Wednesday 6 May 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 each day. The Order is required for BT Works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Murray Street, Duns.

There is no alternative route. Local access for residents and emergency services with slights delays.
