What is happening?

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

Seaton Place, Falkirk from 08:00 until 16:00 on 27/04/26. The prohibition is to allow for Cherry Picker Access.
1. This order temporarily closes Seaton Place, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Maxwell Tower in an easterly direction for approximately 100 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Not applicable – local access to be maintained as far as practically possible.

Telford Square & Fleming Gardens, Falkirk from 07.30 hours on 27/04/2026 until 17.00 hours on 06/06/2026. The prohibition is to allow for footway and carriageway resurfacing works.
1. This Order temporarily closes:
a. Telford Square, Falkirk from its junction with Simpson Street to its junction with Fleming Gardens.
b. Fleming Gardens, Falkirk between its two junctions with Telford Square.
2. The alternative route Telford Square, Simpson Street, Nailer Road, Dorrator Road, Aitken Gardens and vice versa.

Darrach Drive, Fankerton from 09:30 until 18:00 on 28/04/26. The prohibition is to allow for Ironworks repairs to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Darrach Drive, Fankerton from a point adjacent to Number 27 in a westerly direction for approximately 50 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Grahamshill Terrace, B818 or vice versa.

Lochhead Avenue, Denny from 08:00 until 18:00 on 28/04/26. The prohibition is to allow for Ironworks repairs to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Lochhead Avenue, Denny from a point adjacent to Anderson Drive in a southerly direction for approximately 100 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Loney Crescent, Shanks Avenue Anderson Drive or vice versa.
