THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(CHERRINGTON GARDENS) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the
Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting
vehicles from proceeding on Cherrington Gardens between
properties 3 to 19.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 5 May 2026 until 7 May 2026.
The diversion route is: Bramstead Avenue.
The Order is required to facilitate works to install a new
telecoms duct by BT.
