(Temporary 20mph Speed Limit) Order 2026 NOTICE is hereby given that West Sussex County Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from driving at a speed exceeding 20mph on Colworth Lane.

The Order is necessary to protect public safety due to the surface conditon of the road.

The Order will came into effect on 30 April 2026 and will last for 18 months or until the road surface is safe to remove the speed restriction.

(Bognor Regis: Pevensey Road)

(Temporary Daytime Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, West Sussex County Council intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Pevensey Road in Bognor Regis from Waverley Road to Northcote Road.

The road closure is needed to allow a sewer to be repaired in safety.

The Order will come into effect on 11 May 2026 and remain in force until 17 May 2026. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.

During the operative periods of this Order the road will be closed in the daytime only, between 0900 and 1800. Alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site and access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.
