ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026 (BACK LANE, RIPPONDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Utility Services Ltd, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Back Lane from side of No. 7 Victoria Square to side of No. 12 Victoria Square for a distance of approximately 15 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Back Fold, Rochdale Road, Fountain Street, and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 27th April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 1st May 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(DEAN STREET, WEST VALE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Sapphire Utility Solutions Ltd, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Dean Street from Stainland Road to 8 Dean Street for a distance of approximately 35 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Stainland Road, Saddleworth Road, Victoria Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 27th April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 1st May 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(LEE LANE, SHIBDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Lee Lane from Bradford Old Road to Holly Leigh Stables for a distance of approximately 530 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Lee Lane, Blake Hill, Kell Lane, Godley Lane, Godley Road, New Bank, Claremount Road, Bradford Old Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 27th April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 26th June 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(OGDEN LANE, OGDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Ogden Lane from The Promenade to A629 Keighley Road for a distance of approximately 460 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. Access to properties will be maintained. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 27th April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 22nd May 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(SUTCLIFFE WOOD LANE, HIPPERHOLME)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Rapid Response Telecoms, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Sutcliffe Wood Lane from junction with Walter Clough Lane to No. 11 Sutcliffe Wood Lane for a distance of approximately 469 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Station Road, Tanhouse Hill, Halifax Road, Brighouse Road, Half House Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 11th May 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 11th May 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.

(ILLINGWORTH CLOSE, ILLINGWORTH)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Utility Services Ltd, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Illingworth Close from No. 15 to No. 19 for a distance of approximately 15 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th May 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 19th May 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(DISPENSARY WALK, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Dispensary Walk from No. 11 to No. 25 for a distance of approximately 13 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Beswick Street, Square Road, Alfred Street East. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 14th May 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 14th May 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.
