C17B - TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (C17B Cortes to Inverallochy Road – 30.04.26) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2026” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984. The order will operate from 30.04.26 for 6 days and will prohibit any person from driving on the C17B Cortes to Inverallochy Road from the U12B at Cortiebrae to the U19B at North Lodge.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety due to works being carried out for a telecoms company. An alternative route is available via the C17B to TR A90, TR A90 via Fraserburgh to B9033 and B9033 to C17B and vice versa.
