Temporary Closure of Pitfield Corner

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Pitfield Corner - from the junction with Sherborne Road, north-eastwards for a total distance of 146 metres.

This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out service disconnection works.

The Order becomes effective on 1st May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 5th May 2026 and last until 8th May 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 4 days.
