NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Colchester City Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 1 July 2022 Has Made the following order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
(College Square, Harlow)
(Temporary Stopping Restriction – Taxi Rank) Order 2026
(West Gate, Harlow)
(Temporary Disabled Badge Holders Only Restriction) Order 2026
Effects of the Order: To introduce a Taxi Rank – No Stopping at any time except Taxis in College Square, Harlow.
To replace the Limited Wait Bay on the South kerb of West Gate, Harlow with a Disabled Badge Holders Only parking Bay.
1. To introduce a No Stopping at any time except Taxis in College Square Harlow to replace the existing Limited Wait bays and Disabled Badge Holders Only bays during works to develop the Town centre area.
2. To introduce Disabled Badge Holders Only parking Bay on the South kerb of West Gate, Harlow, replacing the existing Limited Wait Bay during the works to develop the Town centre area.
The Essex County Council (Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Consolidation) Order 2019 will be temporarily amended for the duration of the above restrictions by substituting the numbers TL440 097 revision 3 with revision 4/TL445 097 revision 1 with revision 2/TL440 095 revision 2 with revision 3/TL445 095 revision 1 with revision 2.
The Order will come into operation on 16th April 2026 and will remain in force for a period of up to 18 months.

(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 1, Footpath 8 and Footpath 10, Nazeing in the District Epping Forest as specified below.
Footway No: Footpath 10, Nazeing Description: From footpath 8 junction north to Green Lane
Footway No: Footpath 10, Nazeing Description: From Nazeing Road south for approximately 419 metres
Footway No: Footpath 8, Nazeing Description: From footpath 10, west for approximately 250 metres
Footway No: Footpath 1, Nazeing Description: From Nursery Road west for approximately 477 metres
The closures are scheduled to commence between 20 April 2026 and 26 August 2026 hours of 07:00 and 18:00, where possible will be open after these times, or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken.
Alternative route via: Main River Lee footpath, Green Lane, section of Footpath 10 and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 20 April 2026 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Foster Street, North Weald Bassett in the District Epping Forest, from a point approximately 130m north east of its junction with Green Lane for a distance of approximately 120m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th May 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WGRF5H7K – Openreach Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach Limited.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hook Lane, Stapleford Abbotts in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Stapleford Road for a distance of approximately 210m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th May 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WGPFN12R01SB – Openreach Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach Limited.

(Lippitts Hill, Waltham Abbey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lippitts Hill, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 725m south east of its junction with Mott Street for a distance of approximately 20m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st May 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MU093MCW-NL-07347737R – Thames Water Utilities Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sewer works are undertaken by Thames Water Utilities Limited.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Street, North Weald Bassett in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 315m north west of its junction with Hastingwood Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a north westerly direction. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the Order: To temporarily close that length of Pynest Green Lane, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Avey Lane to its junction with Wellington Hill a distance of approximately 370m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st May 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WGQW028LSB – Openreach Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach Limited.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Roding Lane, Chigwell in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with High Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th May 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WGLJDG1P11SB – Openreach Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Stony Lane, Bobbingworth in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Epping Road for a distance of approximately 55m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd May 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WGQKKV4T – Openreach Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Toot Hill Road, Ongar) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Toot Hill Road, Ongar in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Greensted Road for a distance of approximately 1035m in a south westerly then south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th May 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2391999 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

The Order will come into effect on 23rd April 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Green Hill Road/Anchor Lane, Abbess Beauchamp and Berners Roding)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Green Hill Road/Anchor Lane, Abbess Beauchamp and Berners Roding in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Berwick Lane for a distance of approximately 1850m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th May 2026 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WGQL251CETHSB/BC008WGQL251C01ETHSB – Openreach Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach Limited.
An alternative route is available via Anchor Lane, Potash Road, Sparrow Lane, Sparrows Lane, Chelmsford Road, Stortford Road, Dunmow Road, Berwick Lane, Green Hill Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 16th April 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Laundry Lane, Nazeing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Laundry Lane, Nazeing in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 510m north west of its junction with Waltham Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th April 2026 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX06164416JB – Affinity Water Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Affinity Water Limited.

(Old Road, Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Old Road, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from its junction with Cambridge Road to its junction with Priory Avenue a distance of approximately 890m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th April 2026 for 103 days, or where stated on a valid permit (N5004P101533N0022561-R46 – The Electricity Network Company Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new HV circuit installation works are undertaken by The Electricity Network Company Limited.

(Pudding Lane, Chigwell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pudding Lane, Chigwell in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Abridge Road to its junction with Gravel Lane a distance of approximately 2190m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th April 2026 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2398833 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway lining works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(Rye Hill Road, Epping Upland) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rye Hill Road, Epping Upland in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with London Road for a distance of approximately 1105m in a south west then north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th May 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WGQN0M3SPTSB/BC008WGQN0M3SPTSB01 – Openreach Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach Limited.

(Station Way, Buckhurst Hill)
(Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction in that length of Station Way, Buckhurst Hill in the District of Epping, from a point approximately 45m south east of its junction with Forest Edge for a distance of approximately 110m in a north easterly direction.
“The Essex County Council (Epping District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The restriction is scheduled to continue on from 9th April 2026 for 546 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10004133 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while traffic management is currently in place for protection measures on the Bridge undertaken by Essex County Council.
The Order will come into effect on 9th April 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, District of Epping Forest) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order (No.5) 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Epping Forest as specified in the schedule.
2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.
“The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 9th April 2026; exact dates will be specified on One.Network. The road will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and there re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion route will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. (Woodberry Down, Epping) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Woodberry Down, Epping in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 20m north east of its junction with Lindsey Street for a distance of approximately 45m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th May 2026 for 8 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX06166251JB – Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via Woodberry Down, Campions, Frampton Road, Lindsey Street and vice versa.
