TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC00 0 148914035 : The City of Manchester (Dulverton Street, Miles Platting & Newton Heath Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrian & Vehicular Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular and pedestrian traffic on Dulverton Street, Miles Platting & Newton Heath Ward, from Old Church Street to Oldham Road. The alternative routes for pedestrian and vehicular traffic will be: N/A. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate carriageway and footway works. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 28th April 2026 to 25th June 2027. The order shall come into operation on the 28th April 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Dated: 17th April 2026.
ORDER NO. MCC 149597602 : The City of Manchester (various footways, Ancoats & Beswick Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrian Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit pedestrian traffic on Hornsea Walk, Dewar Close, Sledmere Close, Pratt Walk, Randall Walk, Newcombe Close. The alternative routes for pedestrian traffic will be: Signed Locally. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate demolition works. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 25th April 2026 to 25th October 2026. The order shall come into operation on 25th April 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of six months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
