Portsmouth City Council (Milton Road) (Temporary Banned Right Turn) (No.83) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 5th May 2026 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY BANNED RIGHT TURN
Milton Road Accessways
At Milton Cemetery
Into Milton Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate gas works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 5th May 2026 to 8th May 2026 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Milton Road, Rodney Road, Rodney Road Roundabout, Rodney Road, Milton Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
