Wembley - Temporary Road Closure & Traffic Restrictions Due To Gas Main Works

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) (As Amended) - Harrow Road And Wyld Way (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 202*

The Council of the London Borough of Brent hereby give notice that to facilitate a gas main replacement in Harrow Road and Wyld Way, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to:-

(a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in Wyld Way, which lies between the north-eastern kerb-line of Harrow Road and a point opposite the south-western building wall of No. 92 Harrow Road;

(b) suspend the one-way working in Wyld Way between its junction with Grittleton Avenue and Harrow Road, to allow vehicular access and egress;

(c) suspend the cycle lane in that length of Harrow Road, Wembley, the north-east side, between the south-eastern kerb-line of Wyld Way and a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 76 and 78 Harrow Road;

(d) suspend the cycle lane in that length of Harrow Road, Wembley, the south-west side, between the north-western kerb-line of Aldbury Avenue and the south-eastern kerb-line of Flamstead Avenue,

When and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.

The prohibitions referred to in (a) above and the suspensions referred to in (b) to (d) inclusive above would apply between 16th April 2026 and 1st May 2026 inclusive, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier only. Works are expected to take place between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.

Access to premises in or adjacent to Wyld Way would be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

Traffic affected by the prohibitions referred to in (a) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
