D376 Millers Lane, Outwood
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 15 April 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D376 Millers Lane, Outwood that extends across the access road for “Brightleigh Farm”, and for a distance of 25m either side.
This Traffic Order is required to enable UK Power Networks to carry out electrical installations and/or connections and/or cabling and/or maintenance works.
These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 6pm within 5 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 27 April 2026.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times by means of a short walkway around the works area. Access for equestrians will be maintained at all times via the alternative route.
Access for affected residences and businesses will be maintained at all times under direction of Traffic Management/road plates, including access for emergency services to such property, via the alternative route:- Millers Lane, Scotts Hill, Normans Road, Rookery Hill and Millers Lane.
The Street (C57) Betchworth
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 15 April 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of The Street (C57) Betchworth.
Alternative Route: Snowerhill Road, Tapners Road, Bunce Common Road, Shellwood Road, Leigh Road, Middle Street, Brockham Lane, (A25) Reigate Road, Station Road, and Old Reigate Road, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate telecom pole replacement works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 9.30am and 4pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 28 April 2026.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on site, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.
Oakdene Road (D1264) Redhill
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 15 April 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Oakdene Road (D1264) Redhill. Linkfield Street, and Upper Bridge Road, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate electrical connection works for, or on behalf of UKPN. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, between the hours of 9am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 27 April 2026.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on site, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.
Fairchildes Lane (C76), Park Road, and Blackmans Lane (D456), Warlingham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 15 April 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Fairchildes Lane (C76) Waringham as extends from its junction with (X455) High Hill Road to its junction with (D456) Park Road; (b) Park Road (D245) Warlingham as extends from its junction with (C76) Fairchildes Lane to its junction with (D456) Blackmans Lane; (c) the entire length of Blackmans Lane (D456) Warlingham.
Alternative Route: (1) Fairchildes Lane, Hesiers Road, Skid Hill Lane, Blackmans Lane, and Park Road, or this route in reverse; (2) Skid Hill Lane, Hesiers Road, and Fairchildes Lane, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate telecom overhead cabling works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach.
These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day at each location, between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 28 April 2026.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 15 April 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Haxted Road (C87) Edenbridge as extends from its junction with (C85) Dwelly Lane to its junction with the county boundary line between Surrey County Council and Kent County Council. Alternative Route: Lingfield Road, Mont St Aignan Way, High Street, (B2026) Mill Hill, Marsh Green Road, (B2028) Moor Lane, (B2028) Racecourse Road, (B2028) Town Hill, (B2028) High Street, (B2028) Plaistow Street, (B2029) Godstone Road, Lingfield Common Road, and Haxted Road, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate telecom pole testing works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach.
These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 30 April 2026.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on site, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.
Leas Road (D1348) Warlingham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 15 April 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Leas Road (D1348) Warlingham as extends from its junction with (X35222) Leas Lane to its junction with (X35207) Tandridge Road.
Alternative Route: Leas Road, (B270) Westhall Road, (B269) The Green, (B269) Limpsfield Road, Slines Oak Road, Halliloo Valley Road, Woldingham Road, Bug Hill, and Leas Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate water utility works for, or on behalf of SES Water.
These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, between the hours of 9.30am and 5pm, within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 27 April 2026.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
All other vehicular traffic, including residents, will be required to follow the signed diversion route.
The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
Church Lane (C138) Hooley
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Church Lane (C138) Hooley as extends from its junction with (X25192) Broad Walk to its junction with (D1156) Church Lane Avenue; (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Church Lane (C138) Hooley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026” in its entirety.
Alternative Route: Church Lane Avenue, Star Lane, and Church Lane, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate mains sewer connection works for, or on behalf of Express Solutions Group.
These works are anticipated to be carried out over 12 days, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 11 May 2026.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
Due to the nature of the works, there will be no access while works are in place, road plates to be added out of hours for residents.
All other vehicular traffic, including the emergency services will be required to use the signed diversion route. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time, under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period.
Wilderwick Road (C90) East Grinstead
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Wilderwick Road (C90) East Grinstead as extends from the access for the property known as “The Granary” to its junction with The Approach (X34024).
Alternative route – A264 (Holyte Road), Shepherds Grove Lane and Hollow Lane, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable Openreach to facilitate pole testing and associated works.
These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 14 May 2026 for 1 day between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
Shelvers Way (D1106) Tadworth
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting in that length of Shelvers Way (D1106) Tadworth as extends from the eastern boundary of 77 Shelvers Way to the western boundary of 83 Shelvers Way.
This Order is required to enable Newlands Construction Ltd to facilitate the widening of the bell mouth for Otway Close and associated works.
These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 11 May 2026 for 1 week between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary waiting restriction, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Ebbisham Lane (D1134) Walton On The Hill
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Ebbisham Lane (D1134) Walton On The Hill. This Order is required to facilitate tree felling and telecom pole replacement works for, or on behalf of Sunbelt Rentals.
These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 14 May 2026.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on site, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists. There is no alternative route for this closure.
Shipley Bridge Lane (C68) Shipley Bridge
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from entering or proceeding in that length of Shipley Bridge Lane (C68) Shipley Bridge as extends from its junction with (B2037) Antlands Lane to its junction with the access to the property known as “The Grange”.
Alternative Route: Shipley Bridge Lane, Copthorne Bank, Keepers Corner, (B2037) Keepers Corner, and (B2037) Antlands Lane, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate permanent reinstatement of carriageway works for, or on behalf of Cappagh.
These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 9.30am and 4pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 13 May 2026.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
Due to the nature of the works, there will be no access through the closure, and all traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.
Various in Mole Valley
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to:-
(a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice;
(b) prohibit vehicles, including cyclists, from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
(c) revoke “Surrey County Council B2430 Kingston Road, Leatherhead and C54 Brockham Lane, Brockham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024” insofar as it relates to Kingston Road only.
This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate pavement reconstruction works and/or surfacing dressing and/or footway slurry works and/or carriageway surfacing/treatment works and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 1 May 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary restrictions will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period.
For Schedule 1: Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route.
For Schedule 2 (surface
dressing works): Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.3) 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned
Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of and Part IV of Schedule
9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of
which will be to:-
(a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in
the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice;
(b) prohibit vehicles, including cyclists, from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate footway slurry works and/or carriageway surfacing/treatment works and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 1 May 2026.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary restrictions will only operate when the relevant traffic signs
are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to:-
(a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice;
(b) prohibit vehicles, including cyclists, from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate surface dressing works, footway slurry works and/or carriageway surfacing/treatment works and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 1 May 2026.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary restrictions will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period.
For Schedule 1: Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route.
For Schedule 2
(surface dressing works): Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. Access for pedestrians will be permitted by the gatemen when safe to do so. Access for cyclists will not be maintained and will be required to follow the signed diversion route/directed by the gatemen on-site.

1. the entire length of D558 Haroldeslea Drive, Horley (between Balcombe Road and the length of Haroldeslea Drive which is not public highway). There is no diversion route available for this road closure;
2. the entire length of D1026 Royal Drive, Epsom Downs. There is no diversion route available for this road closure;
3. that length of B278 Rectory Lane, Woodmansterne which extends from its junction with B2032 Outwood Lane to its junction with T9017 Townpath from Chipstead Way to Rectory Lane. There is no diversion route available for this road closure;
4. that length of C223 Prices Lane, Reigate which extends from its junction with C223 Sandcross Lane to its junction with D1300 Meadow Way. Alternative Route – D1300 Meadow Way, D1298 Sandcross Lane and C223 Sandcross Lane;
