(PUBLIC FOOTPATHS FP1308041a, FP1308046 & FP1313010 BARLEY-WITH-WHEATLEY BOOTH, PENDLE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lancashire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is to prohibit temporarily all traffic from proceeding over the Public Footpaths indicated below:-
Public Footpaths FP1308041a, FP1308046 & FP1313010, Barley-With-Wheatley Booth, Pendle, from Point A (SD 8019 3975) in a generally easterly direction for approximately 616 metres to Point B (SD 8071 3968), continue in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 132 metres to Point C (SD 8085 3936).
The closure is necessary whilst works are carried out on or near the footpaths.
Access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the footpaths, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from, the footpaths, will be maintained at all times.
Nothing in the order shall apply to emergency service vehicles or to those undertaking the works
The Order will be operative from 21 March 2026, for a period of 6 months or until the works are completed within this period.
