ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

(Lydgate, Burmantofts, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because electrical connection works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway; Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Lydgate, Burmantofts, Leeds; from its junction with Middleton Avenue to its end. No diversionary route is required. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on Monday 20 April 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 22 May 2026. The closure will be in place for 24 hrs per day. G Pugh. Ref: ECO2600070

(Wellington Street, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because new electrical connection works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Wellington Street, Leeds; in an easterly direction between its junctions with Queen Street and Britannia Street. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Northern Street, Whitehall Road, Thirsk Row. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on Sunday 19 April 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because Gas main replacement works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council has today made to make an Order, the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Oakwood Grange Lane, Roundhay; between its junctions with Oakwood Walk and Oakwood Park. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Oakwood Park, Oakwood Lane and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on Monday 20 April 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because new connection works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Old Lane, Bramhope, Leeds; from a point adjacent to Meadow Bank Farm to opposite Number 36 for approx 150m. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Occupation Lane, Moorland Road, Moor Road. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on 20 April 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that new ducting works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to stop, wait, load or unload along Boroughgate, Otley; east of its junction with Crossgate, for a distance of 45m on the northern side, and 30m on the southern side. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 27 April 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because window replacement works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Park Row, Leeds; between its junctions with Russell Street and Infirmary Street. In addition, the bus gate on Infirmary Street, Leeds will be suspended for the duration of the closure, between its junctions with King Street and Park Row. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Bedford Street, East Parade, Infirmary Street. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 27 April 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Wednesday 29 April 2026. The restrictions will be in place between 23:45 at night and 05:00 hrs the following morning. A Coultate. Ref: ECO2600079

(Elder Garth, Garforth, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because electric connection works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Elder Garth, Garforth, Leeds; outside number 7 Elder Garth. No diversionary route is necessary. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 28 April 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Suspension of Parking Bays & Prohibition of Parking) Order 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because development works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to park or be in any of those disabled parking bays that run along their full lengths of Tower House Street and Brunswick Terrace, Leeds. In addition, it will be necessary to restrict to the use of those 9 parking bays situated along Lovell Park Road (starting 15m from its junction with Grafton Street for a length of approximately 52m) for use by Blue Badge Holders only. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Thursday 23 April 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Definitive Footpath Wetherby No.8) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that due to due to health and safety concerns during re-surfacing works to adjacent properties. Leeds City Council has today made an Order In the interests of public safety, the effect of which is that: No person shall proceed on foot along Definitive Footpath Wetherby No.8; for approx 394 metres between its junctions with B1224 and Carr Lane. A Diversionary route will be available via Definitive Footpath Wetherby 43, Definitive Bridleway Wetherby 9, Definitive Bridleway Wetherby 6 and Definitive Bridleway Wetherby 7; to re-join Definitive Footpath Wetherby No.8 (and vice versa).The Order shall come into operation on 17 April 2026 and to remain in force 24 hours per day, for a maximum period of 6 months.
