THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (A6094 EAST OF HOWGATE) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2026

Midlothian Council on 13 April 2026 made the above Order, which comes into force on 14 May 2026. The effect is to reduce speed limits on sections of the A6094 road east of Howgate from 60 mph to 50 mph and 40 mph.

THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (ROSSLYNLEE AREA) (40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2026

Midlothian Council on 13 April 2026 made the above Order, which comes into force on 14 May 2026.  The effect is to reduce the speed limit on roads in the Rosslynlee area of Rosewell from 60 mph to 40 mph. * * * * *

Details of these Orders may be examined from 16 April to 25 May 2026 at Libraries, at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk, or from david.chambers@midlothian.gov.uk.

Anyone wishing to question the validity of either Order or of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of such Act or of any relevant regulation has not been complied with, may within six weeks from 13 April 2026 apply for this purpose to the Court of Session.
