(Pagham: Dukes Meadow to Hook Lane Footpath)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close the footpath between Dukes Meadow and Hook Lane in Pagham throughout its entire length.

The closure of this path is needed to allow new electricity mains cables to be installed in safety.

The Order will come into effect on 5 May 2026 and remain in force until 15 May 2026. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.

During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Loxwood Road Amendment) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made a permanent Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to move the School Keep Clear on the north side of Loxwood Road so that it is adjacent to the entrance to Plaistow & Kirdford Primary School. The Order will come into operation on 20 April 2026.

Paper copies of documents will not be available to view in council offices or libraries. People without access to a computer who wish to have a copy of the Order should telephone the WSCC Contact Centre on 01243 642105 to receive a copy by post.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or on the grounds that any requirements of the act, or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks from 16 April 2026, apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Bersted: Lethaby Road Amendment) Order 2026 NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has recently made a permanent Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to enact the recently installed restriction prohibiting waiting at any time on both sides of Lethaby Road in Bersted From its junction with Crimsham Road southwards for 75M.

A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 20 April 2026, together with plans showing the affected lengths of road may be viewed on the WSCC website. People without access to a computer who wish to view details of the scheme should telephone the WSCC Contact Centre on 01243 642105 to receive the documents by post.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of this Order, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks from 16 April 2026, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
