ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
C94 HITCHCROFT JUNCTION TO WEST END ALNWICK
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C94 Hitchcroft Junction To West End from its junction with the A1 heading in a north easterly direction for a length of 1700 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 11th May 2026 until the 11th November 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the following dates; however, the order will remain in place until 11th November 2026.
• Civils – 11th May 2026 until the 5th June 2026 between the hours of 08:00 until 17:00 • Surfacing – 8th June 2026 until the 12th June 2026 between the hours of 08:00 until 17:00.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being A1, C97, C95, C94 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

B1340 B6347 CHRISTON BANK MAIN ROAD CHRISTON BANK
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 ORDER NO 2
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B1340 B6347 Christon Bank Main Road from its junction with Station Cottages, heading north-east for 40 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 9th May 2026 until the 10th May 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 9th May 2026 until the 10th May 2026 between the hours of 23:00 until 06:30 during this period.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B6347, C69, C71 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
C148 ST LEONARDS LANE MITFORD
(TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the speed by vehicular traffic from 60 MPH down to 30 MPH on that section of the C148 St Leonards Lane Mitford from its junction with the C148 St Leonards Lane to A1 Junction Mitford in a southerly direction for a distance of 950 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st May 2026 until the 2nd October 2026.
It is expected that the speed restriction on this road will be in place from the 1st May 2026 until the 31st August 2026 during this period however the Order will remain in force until the 2nd October 2026.

U3124 MEADOW RIGGS ALNWICK
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U3124 Meadow Riggs for its entirety in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 23rd April 2026 until the 23rd October 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 23rd April 2026 until the 28th April 2026 between the hours of 0800 and 1700 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 23rd October 2026.
There is no alternative route available.

C120 ULGHAM GRANGE JUNCTION TO HAGG HOUSE JUNCTION ULGHAM
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C120 Ulgham Grange Junction To Hagg House Junction from its junction with C119 Tute Hill heading in a eastward direction for a distance of 760 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 21st April 2026 until the 1st May 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 21st April 2026 until the 22nd April 2026 between the hours of 08:30 & 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 1st May 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C120, B1337, B1337, A1068 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in the County of Northumberland.
• U1084 U1085 Road to South Middleton from its junction with the C51 heading in a south westerly direction for a length of 500 metres. • U1084 U1085 Road to South Middleton from its point with the U1079 heading in a westerly direction for a length of 500 metres.
• U1079 Roseden Junction to North Middleton from its point with the U1084 U1085 heading in a southerly direction for a length of 195 metres. The Order is to be effective from the 20th April 2026 until the 20th October 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 20th April 2026 until the 22nd April 2026 between the hours of 08:00 until 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 20th October 2026 .
There is no alternative route available for use whilst the TTRO is in force.

CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2024 VARIATION
ORDER 48 (TRO_101_48)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred under sections 1 to 4, 32, 35, 45 and 46, 61 and 64 (as appropriate) and Part IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other powers so enabling, have made the above-named Order.
The effect of the Order, which will come into force on the 20th April 2026 will be to vary the “Northumberland County Council (Waiting, Loading & Parking Places) (Map Based) Consolidation Order 2024” by extending the ‘no waiting at any time’ parking restrictions on sections of Front Street in Rothbury.
The restrictions can also be viewed in map format, as the maps form part of the map-based schedule to the Order.
A copy of the Order, together with the maps that form part of the Schedule to the Order and any other relevant documents, notices or Orders as appropriate as well as a Statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order are available to view or download on the NCC Website:
