(IMPOSITION OF A 30MPH SPEED LIMIT EXTENSION)
ORDER 202
THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under Sections 5, 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, the effect of which will be:
To impose a 30MPH Speed Limit on part of Ashley Road, Medbourne A copy of the proposed Order, together with a plan illustrating the proposals and an explanatory statement giving the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected until 8th May 2026, during normal office hours at my offices, Room 200, County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8RAon the councils website at https://www.leicestershire.gov.uk/roads-and-travel/cars-and-parking/traffic-management-consultations, at the offices of Harborough District Council, The Symington Building, Adam & Eve Street, Market Harborough LE16 7AG and on the notice board at Medbourne Parish Council. All documents relating to the proposal will remain available on request, in compliance with statute by contacting legalpropertyandenvironment@leics. gov.uk
Objections to the proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made, should be sent in writing to the undersigned by not later than 8th May 2026, quoting reference HT/HTWMT/6135.

CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2022 (VARIOUS ROADS, DISTRICT OF HARBOROUGH)
(AMENDMENT 12) ORDER 202
THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, the effect of which will be:
To revoke the existing limit waiting parking bays (2 hours, no return within 1 hour, Monday - Saturday 8am-6pm, except for resident’s parking permit holders)
To impose No Waiting at Any Time restrictions at the following locations:
• St Mary’s Road, Market Harborough
• Old School Mews at its junction with Fairfield Road, Market Harborough
• Fairfield Road, Market Harborough
