NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or
proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect will
be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of
Cedar Avenue at Mexborough in the City of Doncaster District
as described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and
times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works to install a new gas service are
undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Maple Road, Elm Road,
Laburnum Road, Cedar Avenue.

Cusworth Lane at Cusworth in the City of Doncaster District
as described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and

workforce whilst vegetation clearance works are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles

(AMENDMENT NO. 156) ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that on the 15th day of April 2026 the
City of Doncaster Council made an Order under the provisions
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The effect of the Order that will come into operation on the
27th day of April 2026 will introduce a 20 mph speed limit on
the following road:
ST MARTINS AVENUE, BAWTRY
A copy of the Order and a map showing the restricted roads
may be examined at the Council Offices, Civic Office,
Waterdale, Doncaster between 8.45 a.m. and 4.45 p.m.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any of
the provisions contained therein on the grounds that it is not
within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation

15th day of April 2026 apply to the High Court for this
