THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(UPGRADING TO BRIDLEWAY OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 98 –
PARISH OF CHARLESWORTH) MODIFICATION ORDER 2025
The above Order made on 06 November 2025, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by upgrading Public Footpath No. 98 to a Bridleway – Parish of Charlesworth.
A copy of the Order and the Order are available to view on the Council website at:
www.derbyshire.gov.uk/rightsofwaynotices.
Documents can also be seen free of charge at County Hall, Matlock during normal office hours where copies may be bought at the price of £1.00 or at Glossop Library Victoria Hall, Talbot Street, Glossop, SK13 7DQ during normal opening hours.
Any representation or objection relating to the order must be sent in writing to the Director of Legal Services at the address below or by email to

not later than Thursday, 28 May 2026, and applicants are requested to state the grounds on which it is made.
If no representations or objections are duly made to the order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Derbyshire County Council, instead of submitting the order to the Secretary of State may itself confirm the order. If the order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
