Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders 2026 - Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984

Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that:

(i) They Propose To Make Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

Buxton With Lamas – Buxton with Lamas Footpath 9 from its joining with Back Lane for 215m westwards to facilitate new fibre network installation from 22nd to 28th April 2026 (may continue until 9th June 2026).
Alternative route is via: Buxton With Lamas Footpath 9, Buxton with Lamas Footpath 12, Back Lane.

The Road A will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) and; traffic (constituting any class of vehicle) over the Road B shall be temporarily subject to the suspension of the one-way system (eastbound) and; the Road C shall be temporarily subject to the imposition of a one-way system (westbound) and the effect of this is that vehicles will only be allowed to travel in a westerly direction and; traffic (constituting any class of vehicle) over the Road D shall be temporarily restricted from turning left onto C557 Market Place and; traffic (constituting any class of vehicle) over the Road E shall be prohibited and; traffic (constituting any class of vehicle) over the Road F shall be temporarily subject to the suspension of the one-way system (eastbound) to allow vehicles to travel in both an easterly and westerly direction between 19:00 and 06:00 from 22nd to 23rd April 2026 (may continue until 4th June 2026).

Reepham – C260 Market Place from its junction with B1145 Station Road for 160m eastwards to facilitate duct laying works between 19:00 and 06:00 from 20th to 23rd April 2026 (may continue until 4th June 2026).

Sheringham –
A) Station Road from its junction with New Road to its junction with Melbourne Road.
B) Station Road from its junction with New Road to its junction with Church Street.
C) Station Road from its junction with New Road for 50m northwards.
To facilitate carriageway repairs, Road A will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access), Road B shall be temporarily subject to the suspension of the one-way system (north bound) to allow vehicles to travel in both a northerly and southerly direction and traffic (constituting any class of vehicle) over the Road C shall be temporarily prohibited to park, stop, load, and/or unload on 20th April 2026 (may continue until 1st June 2026).
Alternative route is via: Station Road, Church Street, Cromer Road.

Stiffkey – A149 Church Street/Morston Road/Morston Chase/Stiffkey Road from its junction with C315 Bridge Street to its junction with A149 The Street to facilitate surface dressing, lining and stud works from 21st April to 23rd May 2026 (may continue until 23rd November 2026).

Winterton-On-Sea – U69645 Wimmer Avenue from its west most junction with C453 Black Street to its east most junction with C453 Black Street to facilitate surface dressing works between 09:00 and 15:00 from 20th to 23rd April 2026 (may continue until 4th June 2026).
