NOTICEISHEREBYGIVENthattheWolverhampton
CityCouncilproposetomakeanOrderunderSection
14(1)(a)oftheRoadTrafficRegulationAct1984,as
substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from
proceedingonthefollowingstretchesofroad:
• Bath Street closed from its junction with Brook
StreettothesideofMeadwoodHouse.
• Brook Street closed from its junction with Bath
StreettoitsjunctionwithRailwayDrive.Vehicular
Diversion Route: Brook Street, Oxford Street
Island,BlackCountryRoutewesterlydirectionor
Coseley Road Island, Black Country Route
easterlydirection.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of
eighteenmonths,butitisanticipatedthattheworkswill
beundertaken22ndApril2026until1stMay2026.
The Order is required to facilitate works for a new
service connection and substation by National Grid
ElectricityDistribution.
