What is happening?

THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (COMMON LANE, MANSFIELD WOODHOUSE)
(RESTRICTED ROAD AND 30 M.P.H SPEED LIMIT) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026 (2293)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Mansfield Woodhouse in the Mansfield District in the County of Nottinghamshire: -
1. The length of road specified in Schedule 1 of this Order shall be a restricted Road (30mph) for the purposes of Section 81 of the Act.
SCHEDULE 1
COMMON LANE, MANSFIELD WOODHOUSE
From a point 38 metres north-west of its junction with Northfield Lane Pleasley in a south-easterly direction for 30 metres.
2. No person shall drive any vehicle at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour on that length of road specified in Schedule 2 of this Order.
SCHEDULE 2
COMMON LANE, MANSFIELD WOODHOUSE
From a point 8 metres north-west of its junction with Northfield Lane, Pleasley in a south-easterly direction to a point 64 metres south-east of that junction.
