THE COUNCIL HAS MADE

The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 5/7, & Public Bridleway No. 6(BW)/4, Parish of Charndon) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2026 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath for the entire length of FP5/7 and Public Bridleway No. CHA/6(BW)/4 commencing at the junction with CHA/1/11 and continues east for the entire length of CHA/6(BW)/4. There is no alternative route. The closure is required due to public safety due to a damaged bridge. The Order will come into operation on 8 April, 2026, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

NOTICE OF MAKING A PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER, THE BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.17 (PART) PARISH OF DRAYTON BEAUCHAMP) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2026 made on 30 March 2026, under section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert the public footpath running from SP90859-11516 E for 90m to SP9093011492, as shown by a bold black line on the Order map, to a line running from SP90859-11516 ENE for 4m to SP90863-11517, then NNE for 28m to SP90875-11543, then ESE for 25m to SP90898-11537, then SE for 55m to SP90930-11492 as shown by bold black dashes on the Order map and having a width of 3m throughout. Full details of the Order are available at Reception, Buckinghamshire Council, Walton Street Offices, Walton Street, Aylesbury, HP20 1UA and at Tring Library, High Street, Tring, HP23 4AF during normal opening hours. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased from the Council at a cost of £5.00 by writing to the Definitive Map and Highway Searches Team at the address given below. Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to the Definitive Map and Highway Searches Team, Buckinghamshire Council, Walton Street Offices, Walton Street, Aylesbury, HP20 1UA by no later than 13 May 2026 or email row@buckinghamshire.gov.uk. Please state the grounds on which it is made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order. Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 this Council is obliged to make any representations received in response to this notice, open to public inspection.
