The Greenway, Barnet - Temporary Road Closure due to Flood Alleviation Scheme Works
What is happening?

SECTION 14(1)
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE THE GREENWAY NW9
The BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing for the need to facilitate flood alleviation scheme works to be carried out, they intend to make an Order which will close The Greenway NW9, between the junction of Edgware Road and the junction of Greenway Gardens.
The order would come into force on Monday 27th April 2026 and would continue for a maximum duration of 64 days (to allow for contingencies) or until the works have been completed whichever is the earlier.
The alternative routes for motorists will be via Greenway Gardens, Edgware Road and vice versa.
Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Officer in uniform or other uniformed personnel authorised by the Commissioner of the Metropolis.
