(Central Road, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Suspension of Parking Bays) Order 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because development works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle or pedestrian to travel along Central Road, Leeds; between its junctions with Kirkgate and Central Arcade. Additionally, it will also be necessary to suspend the use of those 6 disabled parking bays along Central Road, Leeds, that are situated approx. 11 metres south of the junction with Kirkgate and run for a distance of approx. 46 metres in a southerly direction. A diversionary route for vehicles and pedestrians affected by the closure will be available via New Market Street & Duncan Street. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 21 April 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Tuesday 19 May 2026. The restrictions will be in place between 08:00 hrs and 18:00 hrs; from Monday to Saturday each week. A Coultate. Ref: ECO2600081

(City Wide Order) 2025 – Experimental Amendment Order No.10 2026

Prohibition of Right & Left Turns

Leeds and Bradford Road (B1657) & Wyther Lane, Kirkstall, Leeds

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council, acting as Local Traffic Authority (and in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 9 10 & 11 & 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers) made the above Experimental Traffic Regulation Order on 9 April 2026. The effect of the Experimental Order which comes into force on the Monday 20 April 2026 (and which will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months) is to introduce the following traffic management measures: 1. No Person shall permit or cause any Vehicle to Turn Right from Leeds and Bradford Road into Wyther Lane; Kirkstall, Leeds. 2. No Person shall permit or cause any Vehicle to Turn Left from Wyther Lane into Leeds and Bradford Road; Kirkstall, Leeds. The Council’s Chief Officer (Highways and Transportation) may under Section 10(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 modify or suspend the operation of the Experimental Order or any of their provisions if it appears to him to be essential. The Council will be considering in due course whether the provisions of the Experimental Order should be continued indefinitely. Full details in the form of the made Experimental Order together with plans showing the affected lengths of highway and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for the Order are available on request by e-mailing the address below. If you wish to object to or make representations concerning the making of the Experimental Order for the purpose of indefinite continuation, you should write to City Development, Merrion House, Leeds LS2 8LX or e-mail troteam@leeds.gov.uk specifying the grounds on which your objection or representation is made by not later than 20 October 2026 quoting reference M10/26. If any person wishes to question the validity of this Experimental Order or any of their provisions on the grounds that it is within the powers conferred by the Act or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may within six weeks from the date of this Notice apply for that purpose to the High Court.

Parking Places) (City Wide) Order 2025 – Amendment Order No.20 2026 – Brooklands Avenue, Seacroft

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority (in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers) proposes to make the above Order, the effect of which will be to introduce the following restriction. No Waiting at any Time on part of Brooklands Avenue Seacroft; including the southwestern side of its junction with Seacroft Crescent, and proceeding along the south-eastern side of Brooklands Avenue, up to its junction with Bailey’s Lane. Details of the proposals including plans showing the affected lengths of highway and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for the Order are available on request by e-mailing the address below. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority (in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers) proposes to make the above Order, the effect of which will be to introduce the following restriction. No Waiting at any Time by Goods Vehicles weighing in excess of 5 Tonnes or by Buses along for the full length of the layby area, situated of the west side of Leeds Road, Oulton; adjacent to St John’s Church. Details of the proposals including plans showing the affected lengths of highway and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for the Order are available on request by e-mailing the address below. & Weetwood Wards

Notice Is Hereby Given that Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 81, 84, 85, 87, 89, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’), the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers, made the above Amendment Order on 9 April 2026. The effect of the Order which comes into effect on 13 April 2026 is to introduce: 1. A 40MPH Speed Limit on:

a. A6120 Ring Rd, Moortown; from King La Roundabout, in a SW direction to a point 70m SW of its junction with Tongue Lane. b. A6120 Ring Rd, Weetwood; from its adjoining point with Ring Rd West Park, Lawnswood Roundabout, in a NE direction for 232m. 2. A 50MPH Speed Limit on: A6120 Ring Rd, Weetwood; from a point 70m SW of its junction with Tongue La, in a SW direction to a point 255m NE of its junction with Lawnswood Roundabout. A copy of this Amendment Order may be obtained by e-mailing troteam@leeds.gov.uk. If you wish to object to question the validity of this Amendment Order or any provision contained within it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not be complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks from the date upon which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose
