TEMPORARY CLOSURE 400378 BULLEY LANE
(CHURCHAM PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400378 Bulley Lane from outside of the property known as ‘The Apple Shed’ to outside of the property known as ‘Spring Villa Farm’ for a distance of approximately 250 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for works on behalf of Severn Trent Water.
The said road is expected to be closed on from 08:00hrs on 22nd April 2026 until 17:00hrs on 24th April 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner. TEMPORARY CLOSURE C43 BLAISDON LANE
(BLAISDON PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C43 Blaisdon Lane from its junction with Velthouse Lane Northwards along Blaisdon Lane for a distance of approximately 725 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for cabling and gully services.
The said road is expected to be closed on from 09:30hrs on 20th April 2026 until 15:30hrs on 22nd April 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

(LITTLEDEAN PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 403003 Road from the junction at Bramble Dean to the junction at The Bungalow, Popes Hill, from outside the property known as ‘The Poplars’ to outside the property known as ‘Rose Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 525 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for pole replacement and tree cutting works. The said road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 5th May 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner. The reason for the said closure is for pole replacement works. 
The said road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 5th May 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner. The reason for the said closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.
The said road is expected to be closed from 6th May 2026 until 8th May 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

(NEWLAND AND ST BRIAVELS PARISHES) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the A466 Road from Great Grove to Bigsweir Bridge and A466 Lower Redbrook to Great Grove, from its junction with Lower Redbrook to its junction with The Fence Crossroads for a distance of approximately 3.2 miles. The reason for the said closure is for works involving removing and securing loose rocks.
There will be no stopping, waiting or loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works. The said road is expected to be closed and restricted from 4th May 2026 until 12th June 2026 only or until the said works have been completed. Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the B4226 Speech House Road, from its junction with Mireystock crossroads to the property known as ‘The Speech House’ for a distance of approximately 1300 metres. The reason for the said closure and restriction is for signing and lining works.
There will be no stopping, waiting or loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works. The said road is expected to be closed and restricted from 09:30hrs on 4th May 2026 until 15:30hrs on 8th May 2026 only or until the said works have been completed. TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF RESTRICTED BYWAY FSB13 & PUBLIC FOOTPATH FSB10

NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Restricted Byway FSB13 & Public Footpath FSB10 as referred to in the Schedule below

Restricted Byway FSB13 from its junction with Wyegate Lane extending in a generally southerly direction for approximately 900 metres to its junction with Stow Road
Public Footpath FSB10, from its junction with FSB 8 extending in a generally easterly and northerly direction for approximately 790 metres to its junction with Restricted Byway FSB13
The said Public Footpath and Restricted Byway both fall within the Parish of St Briavels in the Forest of Dean District within the County of Gloucestershire. The closure is necessary to safeguard the health and safety of the public due to a landslide and flood damage to the said Public Footpath FSB10 and Restricted Byway FSB13. The Public Footpath and Restricted Byway were originally closed for 21 days by Emergency Notice dated 20th May 2024 and an Order was subsequently made which
commenced 11th June 2024. As works are still ongoing, the Secretary of State has now granted an extension of the Order until 20th May 2028 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier. The reason for the said closure is for retaining wall repair works.
The said road is expected to be closed from 5th May 2026 until 12th June 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
