The Council has made the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, Public Right of Way Footpath 8 (PROW 8), Apley (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians) Order 2025 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Telford & Wrekin Council have closed the footpath due to the likelihood of danger to the public. The order became operational from the 7/11/25. The following footpath is affected: Public Right of Way Footpath 8, Apley in its entirety.
The original duration was 6 months with an end date 7/5/26. The closure has been extended and is now expected to be completed by the 7/12/26.
Alternative routes will be signed on site.
