ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF A630 ROTHERHAM GATEWAY/EUROPA WAY ENTRY SLIP

ROAD CATCLIFFE ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of A630 Rotherham Gateway/ Europa Way entry slip road from the Europa Link roundabout to the end of the entry slip road on A630 Rotherham Gateway eastbound on the following dates:-

Saturday 18/04/26 20:00hrs to Sunday 19/04/26 10:00hrs

Saturday 11/07/26 20:00hrs to Sunday 12/07/26 10:00hrs

Saturday 10/10/26 20:00hrs to Sunday 11/10/26 10:00hrs

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via B6533 Poplar way, A630 Rotherham Gateway and Sheffield Parkway, westbound, ‘U’ turn at the Handsworth interchange, and A630 Sheffield Parkway and Rotherham Gateway eastbound.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Highway routine maintenance works). Dated this 9th day of April 2026         B. Nahal, Head of Legal Services

PART OF BRECKS LANE, BRECKS

PART OF CARR LANE THRYBERGH

PART OF RAVENFIELD LANE HOOTON ROBERTS AND

PART OF MAGNA LANE DALTON/FLANDERWELL LANE DALTON ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the four parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice on five occasions between Sunday 19th April 2026 and Sunday 17th October 2027. That part of Brecks Lane, Brecks, that part of Carr Lane Thrybergh and that part of Ravenfield Lane, Hooton Roberts specified in the first, second and third parts of the Schedule to this Notice will be closed on one day per part of road between 9.30am and 3.30pm between Monday and Friday. That part of Magna Lane, Dalton/Flanderwell Lane Dalton specified in the fourth part of the Schedule to this Notice will be closed on one day not exceeding three hours between 5.00am and 11.30am.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the four parts of road [Verge maintenance work (grass/hedge cutting)]

(i)    Bus Station access from its junction with Drummond Street for the full length.

(ii)   Water Street from its junction with the Bus Station access for the full length.

(iii)   Effingham Square from its junction with Drummond Street for the full length.
