(CHEVET LANE, WAKEFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 102) 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to install relays, connection and transfers for Northern Gas Network to be carried out as follows:ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Chevet Lane, Wakefield for approximately 300 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads attheir junctions the closed length of Chevet Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Barnsley Road, Agbrigg Road, Doncaster Road, Lodge Lane, The Avenue, Harrison Road, Shay Lane, Greenside, Walton Station Lane & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 13th April 2026 to 23rd June 2026 between 08.00 hours to 18.00 hours or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Residents access to be maintained where possible. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(KIRKTHORPE LANE, KIRKTHORPE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 104) 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for Surface Dressing 2026 to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Kirkthorpe Lane, Kirkthorpe. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Kirkthorpe Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Warmfield Lane, Wakefield Road, Black Road, Kirkthorpe Lane & vice versa.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for microsurfacing work to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: High Street, Crigglestone. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of High Street.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Bull Lane, Haveroid Lane, Painthorpe Lane & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 11th April 2026 between 08.00 hours to 18.00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Residents access to be maintained where possible.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 116) 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for NPG new connection works and Yorkshire Water new connection works to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Gills Yard, Wakefield from the junction with Northgate to outside numbers 12 to 14. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Gills Yard.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Northgate, Rishworth Street and Rishworth Street, Wood Street, Bull Ring, Northgate.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 13th April 2026 to 17th April 2026, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Residents access to be maintained where possible.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 92) 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for Wakefield surface dressing 2026 to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: High Street, Crofton. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of High Street.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Santingley Lane, Wintersett Lane, Long Dam Lane, Back Lane, Moorhouse Lane, Swine Lane, Nostell Lane, Station Road,

Ryhill Pits Lane, Cold Hiendley Common Lane, Haw Park Lane, Chevet Lane, Common Lane, Greenside, Oakenshaw Lane, Doncaster Road, Lodge Lane, The Avenue, Harrison Road & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 11th April 2026 or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(ABERFORD ROAD, WAKEFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 130) 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for gas mains replacement to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Aberford Road, Wakefield one way closure from the roundabout, junction of Bar Lane to outside 13 Aberford Road. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Aberford Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Novale Way, Aurora Drive & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 27th April 2026 to 14th May 2026 or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(SECKAR LANE, WOOLLEY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 132) 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for essential upgrade to infrastructure to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Seckar Lane, Woolley for approximately 10 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Seckar Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Seckar Lane, Water Lane, New Road, Barnsley Road, Seckar Lane & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 27th April 2026 to 1st May 2026 or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
