What is happening?

Broadstone Way, Poole – Road Closure Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT: Road closed to all vehicles and no parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time.
WHERE & WHEN: • Broadstone Way from its junction with Broadstone Roundabout to its junction with Beechbank Avenue. Anticipated dates: 5th May 2026 until 8th May 2026
• Broadstone Way from its junction with Beechbank Avenue to its junction with Cabot Lane. Anticipated dates: 11th May 2026 until 15th May 2026.
WHY: This is to facilitate ground investigation works by Wessex Water.
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.
DIVERSION: Via signed routes.

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
