Mae Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) a’r holl bwerau galluogi eraill, yn bwriadu, mewn dim llai na 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, wneud Gorchymyn a fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw un rhag defnyddio neu deithio ar hyd Broadway o’r gyffordd â Clifton Street i’r gyffordd â Cyril Crescent.
Mae’r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol i hwyluso gwaith ar y briffordd neu gerllaw iddi, a bydd yn dod i rym ddydd Llun 20 Ebrill 2026, a disgwylir iddo fod ar waith hyd at ddydd Gwener 15 Mai 2026.
Dim ond ar yr adegau ac i’r graddau a nodir ar arwyddion a/neu hysbysiadau sy’n cael eu harddangos y bydd y cyfyngiad dan sylw ar waith. Bydd y Gorchymyn yn parhau ar waith am hyd at 18 mis.
Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau yr effeithir arnynt gan y cau hwn, ac sy'n teithio tua'r gorllewin, fydd trwy Cyril Crescent, Heol Casnewydd, Clifton Street, a'r llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau yr effeithir arnynt gan y cau hwn, ac sy'n teithio tua'r dwyrain, fydd trwy Heol Casnewydd a Cyril Crescent.
Enw'r Gorchymyn fydd "Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd (Broadway, Caerdydd) (Cau Ffordd Dros Dro) 2026”.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC PROPOSAL
THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CARDIFF
(BROADWAY, CARDIFF) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and of all other enabling powers intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the general effect of which is to prevent any vehicles from using or proceeding along Broadway from its junction with Clifton Street to its junction with Cyril Crescent.
The Order is necessary to facilitate works on or near to the highway and will come into operation on Monday 20th April 2026 and is expected to be in operation until Friday 15th May 2026.
The restriction specified will only have the effect at such times and to such extent as indicated by the display of signs and/or notices. The Order will remain in force for a maximum of 18 months.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this closure and travelling in a westbound direction will be via Cyril Crescent, Newport Road, Clifton Street and the alternative route for vehicles affected by this closure and travelling in an eastbound direction will be via Newport Road and Cyril Crescent.
The Order will be known as “The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff (Broadway, Cardiff) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2026”.
