NOTICE is hereby given that the Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council proposes to make the following Order under Sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.

Restrictions Under the Order
To reenact The Walsall Metropolitan Borough (Willenhall Town Centre) (One Way Working and Restriction of Access) Order 2012 with the following amendments:

Revocation of the existing pedestrian zone restrictions on Wolverhampton Street & Stafford Street. Inclusion of the one way working eastbound on Cross Street.

Full details of these proposals are contained in the Draft Order and plans which show the roads subject to the Order and the extent and details of the controls proposed. This Order and the plans along with a Statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined by appointment (Tel: 01922 650000) at The Civic Centre, Darwall Street, WALSALL, during normal office hours.

Objections
Formal objections to the Order should be sent with the grounds for making them in writing (quoting ref: GW/2265/6185) to the Permanent and Temporary Traffic Management Team, The Civic Centre, Darwall Street, Walsall, WS1 1DG or to the email address

by no later than 1 May 2026.
