Notice is hereby given in compliance with
Paragraph 3 of Schedule 4 to the Road Traffic
Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 that
Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough
Council, in exercise of the powers conferred
on it by Article 13(1) of the said Road Traffic
Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997,
proposes to make an Order entitled The
Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough
Council Suspension of Parking Place Use
(Magowan Buildings, Portadown) Order 2026.
The Order will suspend the use of part of a
parking place situate at Magowan Buildings,
Portadown and known as Magowan Buildings
Off-Street Car Park on Saturday 29 August
2026 to allow its use during this period for the
purposes of a Council Town Centre Market and
associated preparation before, and restoration
after, the event.
Full details are contained in the draft Order
which may be inspected free of charge
between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday
to Friday within the period below at the
Council’s Craigavon office, Craigavon Civic
& Conference Centre, Lakeview Road,
Craigavon, BT64 1AL, The Palace Building,
The Palace Demesne, Armagh BT60 4EL and
Banbridge Civic Building, 15 Downshire Place,
Banbridge, BT32 3JY or viewed online at

Any person may, within a period of 22 days
from the date of publication of this Notice,
make objections or other representations in
relation to the proposed Order to the Council
at the address above. All such objections or
other representations must be in writing and
must specify the grounds on which they are
made.
