TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2026

Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984

Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that:

(i) THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

BRADWELL – Cley Road from 80m south of its junction with Market Road for 130m southwards to facilitate overhead network works between 09:30 and 15:30 on 15th April 2026 (may continue until 27th May 2026). Alternative route is via: Market Road, Mill Road, Lords Lane, Cley Road (Burgh Castle, Bradwell). The works promoter is BT.

BRISTON – Hell Pit Lane from its junction with High Road for 35m south-eastwards to facilitate tree trimming works between 08:00 and 18:00 on 14th April 2026 (may continue until 26th May 2026). CROMER – Cromer FP13 from Cromer FP22 to Cromer FP14 to facilitate Cromer County Club development works from 13th to 24th April 2026 (may continue until 5th June 2026). Alternative route is via Cromer Footpath 22, Cromer Footpath 13. The works promoter is Hilton Grand Vacations.

FILBY – C449 Thrigby Road from 50m north-east of its junction with U69504 Common Lane for 110m south-westwards to facilitate carriageway repairs from 14th to 15th April 2026 (may continue until 27th May 2026). Alternative route is via: Thrigby Road, A1064 Main Road, Mautby Lane, Runham Road, Filby Road, Stokesby Road, Thrigby Road (Mautby, Filby, Stokesby with Herringby). GREAT YARMOUTH – Copperfield Avenue from its junction with Barkis Road for 180m southwards to facilitate carriageway repair works on 14th April 2026 (may continue until 26th May 2026). GREAT YARMOUTH – Garrison Road from its junction with Palgrave Road for 15m westwards to facilitate new electrical connection works from 14th to 17th April 2026 (may continue until 29th May 2026). HELLESDON – A) A140 Holt Road from 160m northwest of its junction with Amsterdam Way/Middletons Lane to 330m northwest of its junction with Buck Courtney Crescent and B) A140 Holt Road from 330m northwest of its junction with Buck Courtney Crescent for 70m north-westwards to facilitate installation of a shared use path (Yellow Pedalway Extension), Road A and Road B will be temporarily subject to a 30mph speed restriction from 13th April to 17th July 2026 (may continue until 12th October 2027). MUNDESLEY – B1145 High Street from its junction with Beckmeadow Way to its junction with The Avenue to facilitate service installations between 09:30 and 15:30 on 14th April 2026 (may continue until 26th May 2026). NORTH WALSHAM – C503 Happisburgh Road from 50m southeast of its junction with U10371 The Close for 30m southwards to facilitate new electrical and water connections from 13th to 17th April 2026 (may continue until 29th May 2026). POSTWICK WITH WITTON – A) Cucumber Lane from its junction with A47 Roundabout for 86m southwards (southbound lane only) and B) Yarmouth Road from its junction with A47 Roundabout for 158m eastwards (westbound lane only) to facilitate new electrical connections from 15th April to 20th May 2026 (may continue until 20th November 2026). Alternative route is via: Yarmouth Road, Stocks Lane, Brundall Road, Blofield Road, The Street, Cucumber Lane (Brundall, Postwick with Witton, Blofield). ACLE – New Road from its junction with New Close for 200m eastwards to facilitate removal and replacement of surface water covers from 7th to 8th April 2026 (may continue until 20th May 2026). Alternative route is via: New Road, Old Road, De Carle Smith Road, The Drive, Acle Link Road, A47 J A1064 Roundabout, A47 From Acle Parish Boundary To Halvergate Parish Boundary. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council. NB: Access to properties and businesses will be maintained during the closure.

AYLMERTON – The Street from its junction with Church Road for 400m south-eastwards to facilitate replacement of electricity poles and overhead cabling works between 09:00 and 18:00 from 7th to 9th April 2026 (may continue until 21st May 2026). BOOTON – C264 Church Road from 150m west of its junction with Grove Lane for 200m westwards to facilitate removal of bellmouth entrance from 6th to 12th April 2026 (may continue until 24th May 2026). GREAT YARMOUTH – Walpole Road from 50m north of its junction with Beaconsfield Road for 100m northwards to facilitate lead pipe replacements from 6th April to 1st May 2026 (may continue until 1st November 2026). HELLESDON – Footpath U5F36 Bernham Road To Woodland Road from its junction with Bernham Road to its junction with Woodland Road to facilitate reconstruction works from 7th April to 10th July 2026 (may continue until 6th October 2026). Alternative route is via: Woodland Road, Bernham Road. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

LINGWOOD AND BURLINGHAM – Post Office Road from its junction with Chapel Road for 480m eastwards to facilitate installation of a new fibre network from 8th to 14th April 2026 (may continue until 26th May 2026). Alternative route is via: Chapel Road, Norwich Road, Station Road. The works promoter is CityFibre Metro Networks.

NEATISHEAD

A) C401 Horning Road from 150m northwest of its junction with U19120 Chapel Road for 455m southwards and

B) Chapel Road from its junction with C401 Horning Road for 450m eastwards

to facilitate installation of new duct with cab and chamber for cabling works from 7th to 14th April 2026 (may continue until 26th May 2026).

Alternative route is via: Horning Road, Norwich Road, A1151 Stalham Road, A1062 Horning Road/Ropes Hill, Neatishead Road, Irstead Road (also known as Birds Lane), Common Road, Church Lane, Church Road, School Road, School Lane, Norwich Road, Horning Road (Hoveton, Ashmanhaugh, Horning).

NORTH WALSHAM – U10320 Bluebell Road from its junction with C636 Bacton Road for 50m southwards to facilitate stop tap replacement works from 7th to 9th April 2026 (may continue until 21st May 2026). Alternative route is via: Bacton Road, Crow Road, Mundesley Road, Lyngate Road, B1145 North Walsham By-pass, A149 North Walsham By-pass, Norwich Road, Grammar School Road, Yarmouth Road, New Road, Pound Road, Marshgate, Bluebell Road. The works promoter is Anglian Water.

NORTHREPPS – C291 School Lane from its junction with C292 Church Street for 125m westwards to facilitate tree cutting works around power lines between 08:00 and 18:00 on 9th April 2026 (may continue until 21st May 2026). Alternative route is via: C292 Church Street/Sandy Lane, Thorpe Road, A149 Cromer Road/North Walsham Road/Crossdale Street, C291 New Road/School Lane (Southrepps, Northrepps). The works promoter is UK Power Networks.

OLD CATTON – C251 St Faiths Road from its junction with Fifers Lane to its junction with Garrick Green to facilitate carriageway repair works from 7th to 8th April 2026 (may continue until 20th May 2026). Alternative route is via: St Faiths Road, Lodge Lane, Spixworth Road, A1042 Chartwell Road/Mile Cross Lane. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

REEPHAM – C265 Kerdiston Road from its junction with Silver End for 30m southwards to facilitate duct laying works from 8th to 10th April 2026 (may continue until 25th May 2026). Alternative route is via: Kerdiston Road, Smugglers Lane, B1145 Dereham Road/Station Road. The works promoter is BT.

SPIXWORTH – C246 Buxton Road from its junction with The Paddocks to its junction with Linnet Road to facilitate installation of additional drainage and kerbing to widen the carriageway and formation of a side entrance from 7th to 19th April 2026 (may continue until 31st May 2026). Alternative route is via: Spixworth Road, White Woman Lane, B1150 North Walsham Road, Crostwick Lane, Buxton Road (Beeston St. Andrew, Sprowston, Crostwick, Spixworth, Old Catton). The works promoter is Bateman Groundworks Ltd.

SPROWSTON

A) U57339 Hammond Way from its junction with C283 Salhouse Road to its junction with U57344 Greenborough Road,

B) U57337 Breck Road from its junction with U57339 Hammond Way to its junction with U57344 Greenborough

to facilitate footway resurfacing from 7th April to 11th August 2026 (may continue until 6th October 2027).

THORPE ST. ANDREW

A) U59582 South Avenue from its junction with A1242 Yarmouth Road for 330m northwards,

B) U59580 Stanmore Road from its junction with U59582 South Avenue for its entire length being 156m

to facilitate footway resurfacing and replacement of kerbs, traffic (constituting any class of vehicle) over the Roads A–B shall be temporarily prohibited to park, stop, load, and/or unload from 7th April to 31st July 2026 (may continue until 6th October 2027).

WALSHINGHAM – U14092 Church Street from 52m southeast of its junction with C586 High Street for 30m south-eastwards to facilitate relocation of existing water air valve away from electrical supply pole works from 7th to 10th April 2026 (may continue until 22nd May 2026). Alternative route is via: U14092 Church Street, C586 High Street, C597 Common Place/Holt Road, U14092 Sunk Road. The works promoter is Anglian Water.

WOOD DALLING – U57084 Crabgate Lane from its junction with Corpusty Road to its junction with Red Pits Lane to facilitate carriageway patching from 7th to 8th April 2026 (may continue until 20th May 2026). Alternative route is via Corpusty Road, Blackwater Lane, Red Pits Lane (Heydon, Wood Dalling). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

CASTON – C546 Attleborough Road from its junction with U33229 Coronation Terrace for 60m westwards to facilitate pole tests between 09:30 and 15:30 on 9th April 2026 (may continue until 21st May 2026). Alternative route is via C546 Attleborough Road, B1077 Carbrooke Road/Caston Road, B1108 Norwich Road, A1075 Memorial Way/Thetford Road, U33192/C546 Thompson Road, C546 Griston Road/The Street and vice versa (Carbrooke, Watton, Caston, Griston). DEOPHAM AND HACKFORD – C783 Pye Lane from its junction with C164 Vicarage Road for 60m southwards to facilitate new water connection works from 8th to 10th April 2026 (may continue until 22nd May 2026). Alternative route is via Pye Lane, The Green, Morley Road, Deopham Road, Mill Hill Lane, Vicarage Road (Morley, Deopham). The works promoter is Anglian Water.

DEREHAM – 3F477 De-Narde Road to Wollaston Avenue from its junction with U30189 De-Narde Road to its junction with U30193 Wollaston Avenue to facilitate footway resurfacing from 7th April 2026 to 9th June 2026 (may continue until 6th October 2026).
