What is happening?
STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 7/4/26 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit traffic along:
Cemetery Rd, Cannock. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB148994104. The Order will come into operation on 13/4/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 24/4/2026. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the new service connection, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Burton Rd, Huddlesford. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB148557772. The Order will come into operation on 10/4/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Haunton Rd, Harlaston. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB148326830. The Order will come into operation on 13/4/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the frame and cover repair works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Elmore Lane, Rugeley. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB148144118. The Order will come into operation on 13/4/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 15/4/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the kerbing and drainage works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 28/4/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 30/4/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the remedial works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 27/4/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 29/4/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the duct installation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 24/4/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 28/4/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 28/4/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the repairs to defect in sewer line works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

ORDER 2009 (AMENDMENT) NO. 1/2026
Staffordshire County Council on 7/4/26 made a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce No Waiting At Any Time (Double Yellow Lines) on Chapel Street and Walsall Road, Cannock. Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH, and during opening hours at Heath Hayes library or at https://consultation.appyway.com/cannock-chase. Persons questioning the validity or provisions of the Order on the grounds that such powers are not conferred by the Act, or that any requirement or instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date the Order was made apply to the High Court. The Order will commence on 12/4/26.
