ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(FLITTON HILL, FLITTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Flitton Hill, Flitton outside Sandycroft.

This temporary closure is required to enable stop tap replacement works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 6 to 8 May 2026. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Ampthill Rd, Silsoe Rd, Wardhedges Rd and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 6 May 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(LODGE ROAD, CRANFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Lodge Road, Cranfield outside Ivy House.

This temporary closure is required to enable comms pipe repair work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 20 to 22 April 2026. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Court Road, High St and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 20 April 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(CHURCH ROAD, PULLOXHILL)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Church Road, Pulloxhill from outside 2 Tyburn Lane to Rectory Lane.

This temporary closure is required to enable blockage clearance work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 20 to 21 April 2026 between the hours of 0800 and 1800. The road will be closed at all times during this period. The alternative route for this closure will be via Tyburn Lane, Greenfield Rd and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 20 April 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.
