BAILEY CRESCENT, POOLE – ROAD CLOSURE

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.

WHAT: Road closed to all vehicles and no parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time

WHERE: Bailey Crescent from its junction with Wimborne Road to its junction with Worgret Road

WHY: This is to facilitate gas main replacement works by SGN

WHEN: Anticipated dates: 4th May 2026 until 26th June 2026

ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety

DIVERSION: Via Bailey Crescent, Wimborne Road and vice versa

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
