The Borough Council of Sandwell (Hanover Road, Church Road and Park Avenue, Rowley Regis)

(Temporary Road Closures) Order 2026 has made an order to t emporarily prohibit vehicles from p roceeding via the following roads in Rowley Regis: Hanover Road from its junction with Norman Terrace to the point it where it joins Church Road. Traffic will be diverted via Hawes Lane, Tippity Green, Portway Road & vice-versa. Church Road from the point of its junction with the Long Meadow to the extended boundary between No’s 16 & 18 Church Road. Traffic will be diverted via Newhall Road, Bell End & Rowley Village at which point the diversion route for Hanover Road can be joined. The reverse route applies. Park Avenue from its junction with Church Road to the extended rear boundary of No.15 Church Road. Traffic will be diverted via Bell End & Rowley Village at which point the diversion route for Hanover Road can be joined. The reverse route applies. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the work is expected to be completed by 15/05/2026, effective from 13/04/2026. Purpose – t o  facilitate gas main replacement works by Cadent Gas Ltd. The Borough Council of Sandwell (Meyrick Road, West Bromwich)

Temporary Road Closure) Order 2026 has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding via Meyrick Road from the extended west side boundary of No.73 Meyrick Road to its junction with Finchpath Road.

Traffic will be diverted via Bellsmore Road, Meyrick Road & vice-versa. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the work is expected to be completed by 23/04/2026 effective from 13/04/2026. Purpose – to facilitate electricity cable reinforcement works by National Grid Electricity Distribution. The Borough Council of Sandwell (Green Street, West Bromwich)

(Temporary Road Closure & Right Turn Ban) Order 2026 has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding  along Green Street, which will be closed from its junction with Kenrick Way to the southern boundary of the entrance to the car park of Kenrick House.  Access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits. A right turn ban for buses only will also be in place on Kenrick Way at the junction of Green Street for the duration of the Green Street closure. Traffic will be diverted via K enrick Way, Glover Street & vice versa.T he maximum duration is 18 months, but the work is expected to be completed by 14/04/2026 effective from 18/04/2026 (24hrs). (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2026 has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Axletree Way at its northern exit from B&Q Store. Access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits. Traffic will be diverted via the B&Q car park. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the work is expected to be completed by 15/04/2026 effective from 13/04/2026 (24hrs). Footway Closure) and (Temporary No Waiting At Any Time Restriction) Order 2026 has made an order to temporarily  prohibit pedestrians f rom proceeding  along the footway opposite property No’s 57/58, Coneygree Road. The order also has made an order to implement a temporary no waiting at any time restriction, which will be in operation on both sides of Coneygree Road from the southern gable end of property No.52 to the dividing line of property No’s 61/62. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the work is expected to be completed by 21/04/2026 effective from 15/04/2026 (8am6pm). The Borough Council of Sandwell (Underhill Road, Tipton) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2026 has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Underhill Road, which will be closed from the junction of Horseley Road to the dividing line of property No’s 1/3. Access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits. Traffic will be diverted via Horseley Road, Mount Street, Hope Road & vice versa. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the work is expected to commence & be completed by 14/04/2026 (9:30am-3:30pm). The Borough Council of Sandwell (Forge Lane and Park Lane, West Bromwich)

(Temporary Road Closures) Order 2026 has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Forge Lane, which will be closed a from a point 350 metres from the junction of Newton Road to the access road to Forge Mill Farm (northern side) (phase 1). The order also has made an order to temporariliy prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Park Lane from the access road to Forge Mill Farm (southern side) to the access road to the Swan Pool Car Park (northern side) (phase 2) & Park Lane from the access road to the Swan Pool Car Park (southern side) to the access road to the site of the old Hill Top Golf Course (northern side) (phase 3). Access to any affected frontages within the closures will be maintained, but only when safety permits.

Forge Lane & Park Lane closures (diversion routes): A traffic diversion route will be signed (westerly direction) via Newton Road, All Saints Way, The Expressway, Birmingham Road & vice versa. A further traffic diversion route will be signed (easterly direction) via Newton Road, Hamstead Road, Hamstead Hill, Handsworth Wood Road, Church Lane, Oxhill Road, Sandwell Road, Holyhead Road, Island Road, Birmingham Road & vice versa. Forge Lane (phase 1)

The maximum duration is 18 months, but the work (two-phased closures) is expected to be completed by 06/05/2026 & 08/06/2026, effective from 22/04/2026 & 03/06/2026 (24hr each phase).

Park Lane (phase 2)

The maximum duration is 18 months, but the work (two-phased closures) is expected to be completed by 14/05/2026 & 12/06/2026, effective from 07/05/2026 & 09/06/2026 (24hr each phase).

Park Lane (phase 3)

The maximum duration is 18 months, but the work (two-phased closures) is expected to be completed by 02/06/2026 & 26/06/2026, effective from 15/05/2026 & 15/06/2026 (24hr each phase).

Purpose – to facilitate access to joint high voltage service cables by Excalon on behalf of National Grid Electricity Distribution.

The Borough Council of Sandwell (The Crescent, Wednesbury)

(Temporary Road Closure & Right & Left Turn Bans) Order 2026 has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along The Crescent, which will be closed between the western boundary of property

No.15 & the eastern boundary of property No.16 for approximately 15 metres. Access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits. A right turn ban will be in place opposite property No.15 for the duration of The Crescent road closure. A left turn ban will be in place opposite property No.16 for the duration of The Crescent road closure. A traffic diversion route will not be signed as The Crescent is not a through road. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the work is expected to commence and be completed by 17/04/2026 (9:30am-3:30pm). Purpose – to facilitate access for repair works by Severn Trent Water.
