(TEMPORARY CLOSING) NO 2 ORDER 2026

The Scottish Borders Council (Scottish Ambulance Service Clinic – Newtown St Boswells) (Temporary Closing) No 2 Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 13 April 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 12 June 2026, on the dates and at the times detailed below. The Order is required in the interests of public safety due to increased traffic and pedestrians attending the Scottish Ambulance Service mobile clinic.

When the Order comes into effect, in the interests of public safety, no person shall (i) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle, and (ii) permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked, on Waverley Place Car Park, Newtown St Boswells, on the following dates and at the times specified:

(i) from 18:00 on 13 April to 17:00 on 14 April 2026: and (ii) from 18:00 on 10 June to 17:00 on 12 June 2026.
