NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Poling Street in Poling throughout its entire length
The road closure is needed to utilities works to take place in safety.
The Order will come into effect on 29 April 2026 and remain in force until 12 May 2026. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order the road will be closed between 0800 and 1800 hours. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Worthing: Broadwater Street East)
(Temporary Day-Time Closure) Order 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Broadwater Street East in Worthing, from its junction with Beaumont Road, eastwards for 20M.
The road closure is needed to allow a new gas main connection to be installed in safety.
The Order will operate between 0800 and 1600 hours on the days it is in force. It will come into effect on 13 April 2026 and remain in force until 21 April 2026. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order the one-way traffic restriction at the eastern end of the road will be suspended to maintain access. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.
