Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TONBRIDGE & MALLING AREA
Aldon Lane, Offham, ME19 5PJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Aldon Lane, Offham, on or after 15th April 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction with A20 London Road, for a distance approximately 100 metres in a South direction. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A20 London Road, B2016 Seven Mile Lane, Teston Road, Aldon Lane and vice versa.
Bull Lane, Eccles, ME20 7HX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow new water service connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bull Lane, Eccles, on or after 3rd May 2026 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property number 105. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Bull Lane, Pilgrims Way, Rochester Road, Pratling Street, Beddow Way, Forstal Road, High Street, Bull Lane and vice versa.
Castle Street, Tonbridge, TN9 1HG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow excavation works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Castle Street, Tonbridge, on or after 27th April 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Castle Lodge, between the hours of 19:00 and 05:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A227 High Street, Lansdowne Road, Lodge Road, Stafford Road, The Slade and vice versa.
Crouch Lane, Borough Green TN15 8LX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow stopcock replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Crouch Lane, Borough Green, on or after 13th April 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property named Inglewood. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Crouch Lane, Long Mill Lane, A25 Maidstone Road, Crouch Lane and vice versa.
High Street, Aylesford, ME20 7UT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow frame and cover replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of High Street, Aylesford, on or after 29th April 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between property number 46 and property number 30, between the hours of 19:00 and 05:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via High Street, Bull Lane, Pilgrims Way, Rochester Road, High Street and vice versa.
Higham Lane, Tonbridge (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow tree trimming and removal works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Higham Lane, Tonbridge, on or after 17th April 2026 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of the junction with A227 Shipbourne Road, between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ashes Lane, A26 Tonbridge Road, A26 Hadlow Road East, A26 Cornwallis Avenue, A26 Hadlow Road, The Ridgeway, A227 Shipbourne Road and vice versa.
Livesey Street, Wateringbury, ME18 5BQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow sewer connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Livesey Street, Wateringbury, on or after 13th April 2026 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from just past the end of car park for North Pole Public House and up to existing current storm channel drain. Outside the former Cromar Nursery. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic. Access will be maintained where it is safe to do so.
Merlin Avenue, Larkfield, ME20 6LB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow ducting works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Merlin Avenue, Larkfield, on or after 27th April 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from outside property number 18 to outside property number 7. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Plover Road, Swallow Road, Merlin Avenue and vice versa.
Norman Road, Snodland, ME6 5JB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow water pipe works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Norman Road, Snodland, on or after 27th April 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property number 5. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Norman Road, Saltings Road, Nevill Road, Kent Road and vice versa.
Rochester Road, Aylesford, ME20 7EF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow remedial works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Rochester Road, Aylesford, on or after 27th April 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property number 201 Chatham Road, between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any Southbound through traffic is via Rochester Road, A229 Kits Coty Slip, A229 Southbound on Blue Bell Hill, A229 Chatham Road, Cobtree Roundabout, A229 Chatham Road, A229 Blue Bell Hill, Kits Coty Slip- Northbound off and Rochester Road.
The alternative route for any Northbound through traffic is via Rochester Road, Chatham Road, A229 Blue Bell Hill North, Lord Lees Roundabout, A229 Bluebell Hill Slip South On, A229 Blue Bell Hill Southbound, Kits Coty Off Slip and Rochester Road.
Rock Road, Borough Green, TN15 8RQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow underground cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Rock Road, Borough Green, on or after 13th April 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Ivy Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Quarry Hill Road, A25 Sevenoaks Road, Rock Road and vice versa.
Swan Street, West Malling, ME19 6NA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow link box works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Swan Street, West Malling, on or after 13th April 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property number 2. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Swan Street, Lucks Hill, Winterfield Lane, A20 London Road, Town Hill, High Street and vice versa.
Teston Road, Offham, ME19 5PF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Teston Road, Offham, on or after 15th April 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from 100 metres East of the junction with Aldon Road, for a distance approximately 100 metres in an East direction. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Teston Road, B2016 Seven Mile Lane, Comp Lane, Teston Road and vice versa.
Tumblefield Road, Stansted, TN15 7PP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow telegraph pole installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Tumblefield Road, Stansted, on or after 27th April 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction with Wrotham Hill Road to Church Cottage, between the hours of 08:00 and 19:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Tumblefield Road, Plaxdale Green Road, Labour In Vain Road, Tumblefield Road and vice versa.
