THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:
B805, Maddiston Road, Rumford from 07:30 hours on 13/04/26 until 17:00 hours on 19/04/26 to allow for carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out.
1. This Order temporarily closes B805, Maddiston Road, Rumford, from a point 70m north of its the junction with Sunnyside Road, to the junction of Carron Terrace.
2. The alternative route is: B805, A803, A801, B805 and vice versa.
Glenfuir Road, Falkirk from 08:00 on 16/04/26 until 17:30 on 17/04/26. The prohibition is to allow for Canal Works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Glenfuir Road, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Camelon Road in a southerly direction for approximately 100 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is:
a) East: - B816, A9, Union Road, Lock 16, B816
b) b) West - B816, Lock 16, Union Road, A9 westwards, Camelon Roundabout, A9 eastwards, B816
THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit waiting on:
Lochgreen Roundabout, Falkirk from 09:30 until 15:30 on 15/04/26. The prohibition is to allow for Telecommunications works to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on Lochgreen Roundabout, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Lochgreen Roundabout in all directions on both sides for approximately 100 metres or thereby.
THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY SUSPENSION ONE WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily suspend one way traffic on:
South Craigs Road, Rumford from 07.30 hours on 13/04/2026 to 17.00 hours on 19/04/2026. This is required to permit vehicular access to said street during the closure of Maddiston Road (B805), in place to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works.
1. This Order temporarily suspends the one-way direction of traffic flow on South Craigs Road, Rumford, from its junction with Carron Terrace to Gardrum Burn.
THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY RIGHT TURN RESTRICTION) ORDER 2026
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit a right turn from:
Gowan Avenue, Falkirk from 09:30 until 15:30 on 15/04/26. The prohibition is to allow for Telecommunications works to be undertaken.
1. This Order temporarily restricts a right turn onto Grahams Road.
2. The alternative route is Grahams Road, New Carron Roundabout and Grahams Road.
