What is happening?

TRAFFIC ORDER

On 02/04/2026 the Council made The Angus Council (Edzell Half Marathon) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Waiting) Order 2026, under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, as considerations of public safety or convenience make it desirable to do so. The Order prohibits all vehicular traffic from driving and waiting in or upon Church Street Edzell, between its junctions with Union Street and Lethnot Road, a distance of 79m or thereby. The alternative route for vehicular traffic is via Union Street, High Street (B966) and Lethnot Road. The reverse route applies. Access for pedestrians will be maintained.
