THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(DEAN BANK LANE) (TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026 - TEMP/26/55

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate sewer works for Scottish Water no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on any part of Dean Bank La from 20m north of the extended north-west kerbline of Hamilton Pl, north-eastwards for 22m & (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on any part of Dean Bank La from the extended north-west kerbline of Hamilton Pl, northwards and then north-eastwards to the extended south-west kerbline of Saxe Coburg St. Existing parking restrictions will be suspended on the affected section of road described in (b). The one-way on Dean Bank La (south to north direction), shall be suspended to accommodate the alternative route relating to the road closure described in (a). The alternative route for through vehicular traffic in relation to the road closure of Dean Bank La is Dean Bank La, Hamilton Pl, Saxe Coburg St & Dean Bank La. The Order shall have effect from 07/04/26 to 20/04/26.
