Reason: Pole replacement by Openreach.

No access for emergency services, diversion route must be maintained.

Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing inc civils works over multiple phases by WCC.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days.
Commencing: 6 April 2026.

(U43207 Kington Lane, Kington) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U43207 Kington Ln from its junction with U43208 Kington Ln to its junction with C2010 Radford Rd.
Reason: Dropped kerb for new vehicle crossing by WCC.
Alternative route: U43207 Kington Ln (part), A422 Alcester Rd, U43209 Old Hill, C2010 Radford Rd, U43207 Kington Ln (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 6 April 2026 and 9 April 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)
(Footpath KP-562, Kempsey) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close Footpath KP-562, Kempsey from its junction with U60003 Brookend Lane (Grid Ref: 385683 249665) to its junction with Footpaths KP-561 and KP-563, Kempsey (Grid Ref: 385573 249382).
The Order has been made due to a Housing development.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U60003 Brookend Lane, U60029 Old Road North, Footpath KP-560 and Footpath KP-561, Kempsey.
The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months continuing on from 30 March 2026.
