TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
WATER LANE, SOUTH NORMANTON
WHEN: 14 April 2026 (09:30 to 15:30)
WHERE: Water Lane, South Normanton between a point 60m west of its Jct. with Ball Hill for a distance of 50m in a westerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate manhole cover and frame renewal works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Water Lane, Main Street, Church Street, Fordbridge Lane, Hilcote Lane, New Lane, Berristow Lane, Mansfield Road, Carter Lane East, Ball Hill and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
