Quay Lane - Temporary Road Closure Due To Sewer Repair Works

Somerset Council Parish of Minehead Temporary Closure of Quay Lane

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Quay Lane - from 84 metres south-west of the junction with Blenheim Road, south-westwards for a total distance of 143 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out sewer repair works.

The Order becomes effective on 16th April 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 20th April 2026 and last until 24th April 2026 between the hours of 08:00 - 18:00 for a total of 5 days.
