Manchester City Council has made the CITY OF MANCHESTER (AMBROSE STREET, GORTON AND ABBEY HEY) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND AMENDMENT) ORDER 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is as follows:
NO WAITING AT ANY TIME:
Ambrose Street, north side from Pottery Lane in an easterly direction for 69m. The Order was made on 2nd April 2026 and will come into effect on 13th April 2026. Copies of the Order and plan are available for inspection at the Customer Service Centre Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within 6 weeks from 2nd April 2026 apply to the High Court for such purpose.
